Quick summary
Google Slides does not have a built-in two-column layout, but you can create one by using vertical guides and text boxes to divide your slide into two equal sections. This method gives you full control over column placement and content alignment without any add-ons.
Steps
- Go to the View menu in the top bar, select Show guides, then choose Show vertical guides.
- Your vertical guides will now appear on your slide, dividing it into two equal parts.
- Click Insert in the top menu, then select Text box.
- Click on the area of the slide where you want to place the first text box, then type your text inside it.
- Click Insert in the top menu again, then select Text box.
- Click on the opposite side of your first text box to place your second text box.
- The slide will now be split into two columns for better layout organization.
