How to Disavow Backlinks in Google Search Console?

Before you begin, keep the disavow list handy. This is a text file encoded in UTF-8 or 7-bit ASCII, containing all the backlinks you want to disavow. Ensure to specify one URL or domain to disavow per line.

Once you have the file ready, follow the steps below to disavow backlinks in Google Search Console:

Visit Google's Disavow Links page.
Choose the website property for which you want to disavow backlinks.
Upload your disavow list.

Keep an eye on the Disavow Links tool to see the status of your submission. It may take some time for Google to process your request and for the disavowed backlinks to no longer be considered in your site's ranking.
