This demo shows how to link a chart from Google Sheets to Google Slides so your presentation automatically reflects live spreadsheet data. By using the Insert > Chart > From Sheets workflow, you create a dynamic, updatable chart connection between both Google apps.
Steps
- In the top menu, click Insert.
- Access the Chart menu to bring your spreadsheet data to life visually.
- Select From Sheets to import a chart from an existing Google Sheets file.
- Choose your File from the file picker dialog.
- Click Insert to confirm your chart selection.
- In the Import chart panel, enable Link to spreadsheet to keep the chart synced with your data.
- Click Import to place the linked chart into your slide.
- Click the three-dot menu on top of your imported chart to access chart options.
- Select Open source to navigate directly to the linked Google Sheets file.
- Your chart is now added and linked to your Google Slides presentation.
