Quick summary
Deleting a comment in Jira takes just a few clicks inside any ticket. Open the ticket, use the More Actions menu on the comment, and confirm deletion to permanently remove it.
Steps
- In your Jira space, find and select the ticket you want to edit.
- Locate the comment you want to remove and click its More Actions button.
- Choose Delete from the list of options in the dropdown menu.
- Click Delete again in the confirmation dialog to confirm your request.
- The comment is now permanently deleted from the selected Jira ticket.
