Dropbox does not offer a native option to delete specific recent activity from its activity log, but users can manage privacy by removing files from the Files tab or clearing browser history to hide locally cached Dropbox activity.
Steps
- Sign in to your account on the Dropbox website.
- Click on the Recents tab located under All files in the left navigation.
- Alternatively, click the gear icon for Settings beside All files to access file management options.
- Select Folder Activity to view a log of recent activity for your folders.
- Note that Dropbox does not provide an option to delete specific entries from the activity log.
- To manage visibility, adjust file sharing settings or remove files as needed from the file view.
- Navigate to the Files tab, select the items you want to remove, and click Delete to remove recently accessed or modified files.
- To hide activity stored in your web browser, clear your browser's cache and history.
