Steps
- Navigate to Admin on the left pane.
- Find Property Settings in the Property column.
- Click on Move to Trash Can to initiate deletion.
- Confirm the action by clicking the prompt to proceed.
- If an error appears indicating the property is linked to a Universal Analytics property, you will need to unlink it first.
- To unlink, click on GA4 Setup Assistant in the Property settings.
- Click Disconnect to remove the link between the Universal Analytics property and GA4.
- Hit Continue to confirm the disconnection.
- Once the Universal Analytics property is unlinked, return to Property Settings and delete the property using the Trash Can option.
