Buffer's cross-platform post customization feature lets you edit captions, images, and hashtags individually for each connected channel from a single Create Post panel. Each post is customized independently, so changes made for one platform are not carried over to others.
Steps
- Open Buffer's Create Post panel with multiple channels selected, then find and open the post you want to customize.
- Make your desired edits — such as updating the caption, swapping the image, or adding hashtags — for the selected channel.
- Tap anywhere outside the text box to apply your changes.
- Repeat the same process for each additional post in the list, editing them individually per platform since changes do not carry over between posts.
- Once all edits are complete, tap Add to Queue or Save as Draft to save and schedule your customized posts.
