How to Create Talking Avatar in HeyGen

Use this interactive demo to learn how to create a talking avatar in HeyGen.

Creating a talking avatar in HeyGen allows you to generate a video where an AI avatar speaks your script using the free AI Studio interface.

Log in to your HeyGen account and go to your dashboard.
Click New Video under Video Agent to open the AI Studio screen.
Select Avatar and choose from the available free avatars, or use your own avatar.
Click inside the Prompt Box that says “Describe your video idea”.
Type your script clearly (this will be converted into speech).
Click the Generate Button (bottom right arrow icon) to create your video.
Wait for the video to Process Output (this may take a few minutes on free accounts).
Preview your video and click Download Video if the option is available on your plan.
