This tutorial shows how to create a registration form in Joomla by enabling user registration in Global Configuration and linking it to your site's main menu. Steps
- Navigate to the System menu to access core configuration settings.
- Open Global Configuration to manage site-wide settings.
- Click the Users tab to customize registration and account settings.
- Set Allow User Registration to Yes.
- Click Save & Close to apply your user registration settings.
- Confirm the configuration saved success message — your settings are now active.
- Navigate to the Menus section to manage site navigation.
- Select Main Menu to add your registration page link.
- Click + New to create a new menu item for user registration.
- Click Select to choose a menu item type for the registration page.
- Navigate to the Users section for registration options.
- Choose the Registration Form option for your menu item.
- Enter a descriptive title for your registration page.
- Click Save & Close to finalize your new registration menu item.
- Confirm the menu item saved message — your registration page is now accessible through the main menu.
