It is very easy to create custom metrics in Amplitude. Here’s a short guide on how to do it:
- Inside Amplitude's experiment editor, head over to the Goals tab and click its corresponding 'Pencil' icon.
- After that, tap the 'Create a Custom Metric' button under the Define the Goal section.
- Click the title field, then enter a unique metric label. At the same time, write a short description and type it into the field right below the title.
- Following that, specify your preferred 'Metric Type' and Events'. Simply tap their respective menus and pick your preferred choices.
- Once done, tap 'Save and Close' to proceed.
- After completing these steps, the custom metric will be created and added to your goal experiment.
