How to Create Avatar in HeyGen

Creating an avatar in HeyGen allows you to generate a digital presenter that can speak your scripts using AI-powered voice and animation.

1. Log in to your HeyGen account and go to your dashboard to access the main workspace.
2. On the left side panel, click Avatar section to view available avatar options.
3. Click Build an Avatar and choose the type of avatar you want to build.
4. Enter your avatar details by filling out name, age, gender, ethnicity, and describing your avatar’s appearance.
5. Click the Generate Preview button and let the AI work its magic.
6. Review the avatar preview and make adjustments if needed.
7. Click Save to add your avatar to your library.
8. Now assign a voice to bring your avatar to life.
9. Click Select voice to confirm and complete your avatar setup.
