This tutorial shows how to apply arched text in PowerPoint using the Transform text effect under the Format tab. In just a few clicks, you can curve any text box upward or downward using the built-in Follow Path options.
Steps
- Click the text you want to arch to select it.
- Go to the Format tab in the PowerPoint ribbon.
- Click Text Effects located in the WordArt Styles group.
- Select Transform from the Text Effects dropdown menu.
- Under the Follow Path section, select your desired curve: Arch to curve text upward in a smooth semi-circle, or Arch Down to curve text downward.
- Your text is now transformed into an arch shape on your slide.
