How to Create a Website on Replit

This tutorial shows how to build and launch a website in Replit using the Agent and get it running in the built-in preview.

Note: You need a Replit account to get started. Sign up at replit.com if you don't have one yet.

1. Sign in to your account at replit.com and go to your main screen.
2. On the dashboard, click + Create Something New.
3. In the prompt creation section, click the + icon to select a skill from the list - for example, SEO Auditor. You can add more skills as needed.
4. At the bottom of the chat prompt, choose Website as your project type. 
5. Describe what you want to build - for example, "A project management web app for a small B2B SaaS startup team to track tasks, assign owners, set deadlines, and view progress across projects" - then click the Arrow button to run.
6. Replit generates the project files automatically and opens them in the editor. Click the New tab icon to view your site in a new tab.
7. To make further changes, describe them in the Agent tab, and the Agent will update your project.
