Steps
- On ChatGPT's main interface, open the left-side panel and click 'Explore GPTs'.
- Click 'Create' at the top-right corner to begin building a new GPT.
- Navigate to the 'Configure' tab to access manual setup options.
- Click the 'Add' icon to upload a distinctive display photo that represents your social media post assistant GPT.
- Enter a unique GPT Name and Description into their respective input fields.
- Write detailed guidelines covering the purpose, behavior, and capabilities of your GPT, then paste them into the 'Instructions' field.
- Add several example text prompts individually into the 'Conversation Starters' input field.
- Optionally, click 'Upload Files' under the Knowledge section to attach reference documents your GPT can draw from.
- In the Capabilities section, tick the checkboxes for the GPT functions you want to enable, and configure any Actions needed to connect with third-party apps.
- Enter a test prompt in the Preview Area and click 'Submit' to verify your GPT responds correctly.
- When satisfied, click 'Create' at the top-right corner to finalize your GPT.
- Select your preferred access configuration (public or private) and click 'Save'.
- Your social media post assistant GPT is now created and published, ready for use.
