Use this interactive demo to learn how to create a shareable Airtable base link.

‍

‍

It is very easy to create a shareable Airtable base link. Here’s a short guide on how to do it:

‍

  1. On Airtable's main dashboard, find and open the base you want to share.
  2. Following that, go to the top-right corner and click the 'Copy Link' button.
  3. Subsequently, click 'Manage' to configure the required permissions according to your liking.
  4. Tap the 'Permission' menu, then select the access you want to grant.
  5. Next, specify who can access the link. You can select 'Allow Any Email Address' or 'Only Allow Emails From' and input a specific email address.
  6. Once done, click 'Save' to proceed.
  7. Finally, the shareable Airtable base link will be generated. Tap 'Copy Link' to send it to the intended recipients.

📌 Why this matters

Sharing your base eliminates the endless cycle of exporting, emailing, and version confusion that plagues collaborative projects. You can grant real-time access to stakeholders, clients, or team members without forcing them to create accounts or navigate complex permissions.

The permission controls let you maintain data integrity while enabling transparency—clients can view project progress without accidentally modifying critical information. This transforms static data dumps into living, collaborative workspaces where everyone stays synchronized automatically, reducing meeting overhead and miscommunication.
