Use this interactive demo to learn how to build a polished one-pager in Google Slides.

Quick summary

Creating a one-pager in Google Slides involves setting a custom slide size, choosing a layout or theme, and adding text, images, and charts to a single page. Once complete, you can download the one-pager as a PDF directly from Google Slides for easy sharing.

Steps

  1. Open Google Slides and start a new blank presentation.
  2. In the menu bar, click File, then select Page setup.
  3. Choose Custom and set the slide size to match the one-pager style you need, such as a vertical flyer, brochure, executive summary, annual report, or short white paper.
  4. Click Apply to confirm your custom slide dimensions.
  5. Choose a simple layout from the Layout menu, or keep the slide blank to build from scratch.
  6. Add a clear title at the top of the page.
  7. Change your theme and apply premade themes to style your one-pager quickly.
  8. Select any of the themes from the theme sidebar to apply it instantly.
  9. Insert text boxes, images, icons, or shapes to make the one-pager easier to scan.
  10. Insert charts to make your one-pager data easier to understand.
  11. Continue adding objects until finished, then review your slide and remove anything that makes the one-pager feel crowded.
  12. To share a finished file, click File in the menu bar, then click Download and select PDF document.

📌 Why this matters

Google Slides is a free, browser-based tool that makes it easy to design and share professional one-pagers without specialist software. Using custom page sizes, premade themes, and built-in chart and image tools, anyone can produce polished single-page documents — such as executive summaries, brochures, or white papers — in minutes. Exporting directly as a PDF ensures the finished one-pager looks consistent across every device and is ready to distribute immediately. This makes Google Slides a practical choice for teams that need fast, shareable, visually structured one-page documents.
