A Smartsheet dashboard is a customizable, no-code reporting view that consolidates project data, metrics, and widgets into a single shared screen. You can create a dashboard in minutes by adding it to a workspace, naming it, and populating it with widgets like titles, charts, and data panels.
Steps
- On Smartsheet's main screen, find and select a workspace under All Workspaces.
- Go to the left-side panel and click the Add button.
- Choose Dashboard from the list of options.
- Tap the title field and enter a unique dashboard name.
- Click the Edit Dashboard button next to the dashboard name.
- Click the Add Widgets button in the right-hand pane.
- Find and select the widget you want to add to your dashboard.
- Tap the widget to start customizing its content and style.
- For the Title widget, edit the default text and use the floating toolbar to adjust formatting.
- Drag and resize the widget to reposition it on the canvas.
- Click Add Widgets again to insert additional widgets.
- For other widgets, use the right-side panel to apply customization options.
- Once finished, click Save in the top-right corner.
- Your new dashboard is now created and added to your Smartsheet workspace.
