How to Create a Cohort in Amplitude

It is very easy to create a cohort in Amplitude. Here’s a quick guide on how to do it in simple steps:

  1. Go to the top-left corner, then click 'Create'.
  2. Choose 'Cohort' from the list of options.
  3. After that, choose your preferred creation method. In this regard, you may start from scratch, upload a CSV file, or select a pre-designed cohort template.
  4. Set your cohort definition. To get started, click 'Select Condition' and choose one from the given options.
  5. Subsequently, configure the event parameters based on your preferences. One by one, provide all the necessary information to set up your cohort properly.
  6. If necessary, tap 'Add' if you need to set up additional Cohorts, Events, User Properties, New Users, or Propensities.
  7. Finally, tap 'Save' at the top-right corner to run your input and create the cohort.
