Quick summary
Creating an email campaign in ActiveCampaign takes just a few steps: select a campaign type, configure your subject line, choose your recipients, design your email, and send or schedule delivery. This walkthrough covers the full end-to-end process inside the ActiveCampaign campaign builder.
Steps
- On the upper left side of your dashboard, click 'Create a campaign'.
- Select a campaign type and click 'Next'.
- Add your Subject Line for your campaign.
- Add your Preheader text.
- Choose your recipient from your list.
- Optionally, schedule your campaign for a future send time.
- After setting the campaign details, click to edit or design your email.
- Choose your preferred email layout.
- Add an image to your campaign.
- Add text to your campaign.
- Once satisfied with your campaign design, click 'Next'.
- Select 'Test and preview' to review your email.
- Click 'Send' to dispatch your campaign.
- Click the 'Desktop preview' to get the full view on your desktop.
- Click 'Finish' to finalize your campaign.
- Click 'Finish' again to confirm — your new scheduled campaign is now live.
