Connecting Google Analytics to Google Ads lets you import conversion data, enable auto-tagging, and unlock cross-platform reporting in a few steps from the Analytics Admin panel. Once the Google Ads link is created, campaign performance data flows directly into your Analytics account for deeper audience and attribution insights.
Steps
- Go to Admin in the left pane of Google Analytics.
- Find Google Ad links under Product links.
- Click the blue Link button to start a new connection.
- Click Choose Google Ads accounts to select the account to link.
- Find and select your Google Ads Account from the list.
- Hit Confirm to confirm your account selection.
- Click Next to proceed to the configuration step.
- Enable Personalized Advertising, Auto-Tagging, and turn on Allow access to Analytics features from within Google Ads.
- Hit Submit to finalize the link settings.
- Verify the LINK CREATED confirmation message appears on screen.
- Hit the X button to return to the main Admin page.
- Confirm your Ad account is now listed under Google Ad links.
