Quick summary
This demo shows you how to close a subtask in Jira by updating its status to Done directly from the parent ticket's Subtasks section. Completing this in Jira keeps your project board accurate and ensures subtask progress is correctly tracked.
Steps
- In your Jira space, find and select the ticket that contains the subtask you wish to close.
- Under the Subtasks section, find the subtask you want to close and tap the Status menu next to it.
- Select Done from the list of status options.
- The selected subtask in your Jira space will now be closed.
