Quick summary
This demo shows you how to change the status of a Jira ticket directly from the board view using the More Actions menu. In seconds, you can update any ticket's workflow status — such as moving it to In Progress — without opening the full issue.
Steps
- In your Jira board, find the ticket you want to edit and click its corresponding More Actions button.
- Hover your mouse cursor over the Change Status option in the dropdown menu.
- Select the new status you wish to set, such as In Progress.
- The status of the selected Jira ticket will be updated and reflected on the board immediately.
