Use this interactive demo to learn how to change your signature in Adobe Fill and Sign.

‍

‍

Here are simple, step-by-step instructions on how to change signature in Adobe fill and sign:

‍

  1. To change a signature in a document, click the signature you want to replace, then click the 'Trash' icon or press 'Delete' on your keyboard.
  2. Once the signature is removed, click the 'Pen' icon in the left sidebar menu.
  3. Click your 'saved' signature to replace the previous one.
  4. For this tutorial, we will replace the draw method with the type method by typing your initials. Then click 'Save' once done.‍
  5. Resize and reposition your new initial signature within the document. The same steps can be used with other signature methods as well.

📌 Why this matters

Changing your signature mid-document saves you from starting over when you realize the original doesn't look professional or fit the space properly. You can switch between typed, drawn, or uploaded signatures depending on what works best for each specific document section.

This flexibility becomes crucial when signing multiple document types in one session, like switching from a formal contract requiring your full signature to an initial-only approval form, all without losing your progress or having to recreate the entire document.
