How to Cancel Replit Subscription

Use this interactive demo to learn how to cancel a Replit subscription.

‍

This tutorial shows how to cancel your Replit Core subscription so you're no longer billed at the end of your current billing period.

Notes:

  • Canceling your subscription does not delete your account or projects. You keep access to Core features until the end of your current billing period.
  • If you want to delete your account entirely, that is a separate process.
  1. Sign in at replit.com and click Settings in the bottom-left corner of the dashboard.
  2. Under the Account section, click the Billing tab.
  3. Under your active plan, click Cancel your subscription.
  4. When the prompt appears, click Continue to Cancel. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your cancellation.
  5. When the feedback form appears, you can optionally state your reason. Your Core subscription is now set to expire at the end of your current billing period.

📌 Why this matters

Canceling your subscription gives you control over billing without losing immediate access to premium features. You'll continue using Core capabilities until your current period ends, creating a buffer to evaluate whether you truly need the paid tier or want to transition projects elsewhere. This approach prevents unexpected charges while preserving your workflow, and since your account and projects remain intact, you can easily resubscribe later if circumstances change. The cancellation doesn't burn bridges - it simply puts you back in the driver's seat of your development costs.
