How to Bulk Move Issues in Jira

‍

Bulk moving issues in Jira is a powerful feature that allows you to move multiple issues from one project to another, change their issue types, or update other fields simultaneously. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Navigate to your desired project and click on it to open.
  2. Click 'Issues'.
  3. Click the ellipsis icon.
  4. Select 'Bulk Change all 1 issues'.
  5. A checkbox will appear next to each issue. Select the issues you want to move.
  6. Click 'Next'.
  7. On the next screen, you’ll be asked to choose a bulk operation. Select the 'Move Issues' option.
  8. Click 'Next'.
  9. Select the target project where you want to move the issues.
  10. If everything looks good, click on 'Confirm' to proceed with the move.
  11. Once completed, you’ll see a confirmation screen indicating that the bulk move was successful. Click 'Done'.
