This tutorial shows how to automate Webflow CMS collection updates using Zapier by connecting Airtable as a trigger and Webflow as the action app. Once set up, any new or updated Airtable record can automatically create a new item in your Webflow collection — no manual publishing required.
Steps
- From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger field to select the event that will start your Zap.
- Search and select Airtable as your trigger app.
- Select a trigger event to define what action in Airtable starts the Zap.
- Connect your Airtable account to authorize Zapier access.
- Configure the event details and click Continue to proceed.
- Click Test trigger to verify that Zapier can pull data from Airtable successfully.
- Search and select Webflow as the action app.
- Click Create Item to set Webflow as the action that creates a new CMS collection entry.
- Connect your Webflow account to authorize Zapier access.
- Configure the action details and click Continue to map your Airtable fields to Webflow.
- Click Test step to confirm the action runs correctly and creates a Webflow item.
- Once the test is successful, click Publish to activate your Zap and go live.
