Quick summary
This demo shows how to automate Jira issue creation from PagerDuty incidents using a Zapier workflow, eliminating manual handoffs between on-call and engineering teams. By connecting PagerDuty as the trigger and Jira Software Cloud as the action, teams can ensure every incident automatically generates a trackable issue without leaving either platform.

- Open the Zap editor to begin configuring your automation.
- Search for and select PagerDuty as the trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event to define what PagerDuty activity starts the Zap.
- Connect and authorize your PagerDuty account in Zapier.

- Select Jira Software Cloud as the action app.
