Quick summary
This tutorial shows how to automate Basecamp updates by building a Zap that triggers on new Typeform responses and automatically creates a to-do in Basecamp — no manual data entry required. Connecting these two tools through Zapier eliminates repetitive handoffs and keeps your project management in sync with incoming form data.
Steps
- From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new automation.
- Open the Zap editor to begin configuring your trigger and action.
- Search and select Typeform as your trigger app.
- Select New Entry as the trigger event.
- Connect your Typeform account to Zapier by logging in and authorizing access.
- Select the specific form you want to monitor for responses and click Continue.
- Click Test trigger to verify Zapier can fetch Typeform data.
- Search and select Basecamp as the action app.
- Select Create To-Do as the action event.
- Connect your Basecamp account to authorize Zapier access.
- Configure the event details and click Continue.
- Click Test step to confirm the Basecamp to-do is created correctly.
- Once the test is successful, click Publish to activate your Zap.
