Steps
- Go to the Insert tab in PowerPoint.
- Click Shapes located in the Illustrations section.
- Choose any shape (rectangle, circle, etc.) from the menu.
- Drag and draw the shape onto your slide.
- Right-click the shape to open the context menu.
- Select Format Shape from the context menu.
- In the Format Shape panel, click Fill and select Solid Fill.
- Adjust the Transparency slider to your preferred level.
