Adding tags to a PowerPoint file makes it easier to search and organize presentations in Windows File Explorer. You can add tags directly through the file's Properties panel without opening PowerPoint at all.
Steps
- Right-click the PowerPoint file in File Explorer to open the context menu.
- Click Properties to open the file properties dialog.
- Go to the Details tab inside the Properties window.
- Find the Tags field in the Details tab.
- Type your tags in the Tags field, separating each tag with a semicolon (;).
- Click Apply to save your tags.
- Click OK to close the Properties dialog and confirm your changes.
