How to Add Table in SurveyMonkey

Use this interactive demo to learn how to insert a table into your SurveyMonkey survey.

Quick summary

Adding a table in SurveyMonkey lets you present structured data clearly within your survey questions. Use the rich text editor to insert, resize, and populate a table in just a few clicks.


Steps

  1. Open your survey by clicking the ellipsis icon next to the survey title and select Edit survey.
  2. Click the ellipsis icon in the rich text editor to open the advanced rich text editor.
  3. Click the table icon in the editor toolbar.
  4. Drag your cursor over the grid to choose the dimensions of the table, then click to insert it.
  5. Enter text into the table cells.
  6. Click and drag any corner of the table to resize it and make it easier to add text into each cell.
  7. Click OK to insert the table into your survey.
  8. Click Save to apply your changes.
