Here's a step-by-step process to submit a sitemap to Google Search Console (GSC):

1. Sign in to Google Search Console and select your property (website).
2. Choose “Sitemaps” from the “Indexing” section on the sidebar.
3. Enter your sitemap URL (e.g., "/sitemap.xml"), and click submit.
4. Verify submission status in the “Submitted sitemaps” section.

💡 Please note: 

• You must have owner permissions on a property to submit a sitemap to GSC.
• Sitemap can be in XML, RSS, mRSS, Atom 1.0, or text format. 
• If the sitemap status isn't "Success," click the report row for details about the issue.
