How to Add Filters to Charts in Amplitude

It is very easy to add filters to charts in Amplitude. Here’s a quick guide on how to do it in simple steps:

  1. Inside Amplitude's Chart Editor, navigate to the top-left corner and click 'Expand Chart Controls'.
  2. Under the selected chart type tab, find and click the 'Segment By' option.
  3. Look for the specific segment you want to edit, then tap its corresponding 'Filter By' option.
  4. After that, choose the specific user property you want to use as a filter.
  5. Subsequently, specify your preferred value and then tap 'Apply' to proceed.
  6. After completing these steps, the selected filter will be added to your Amplitude chart.
