How to Add an OpenAI API Key in n8n

It is very easy to add an OpenAI API key in n8n. Here’s a short guide on how to do it in simple steps:

1. On n8n's main dashboard, go to the top-right corner and click the drop-down arrow next to the 'Create Workflow' option.
2. Choose 'Create Credential' from the list.
3. After that, find and select 'OpenAI' from the app menu.
4. Tap 'Continue' afterwards to proceed.
5. Prepare your OpenAI API key and enter it into the provided input field.
6. Subsequently, provide the other optional and required details associated with your OpenAI account. Among them are the Organization ID, Base URL, HTTP Request Domains, and other relevant settings.
7. Once done, click 'Save' to apply the changes.
8. Finally, your OpenAI API key will be added to your n8n account.
