Quick summary
This tutorial shows you how to add an image as a footer in PowerPoint using the Slide Master, so your logo or branding appears consistently on every slide. By inserting a picture through the master view and sending it to the back, you create a non-intrusive, presentation-wide image footer without editing each slide individually.
Steps
- Go to the View tab in PowerPoint.
- Click Slide Master located in the Master Views section.
- In the left-hand thumbnail pane, scroll to the top and select the larger master slide.
- Go to the Insert tab.
- Select Pictures from the Images group.
- Choose your image file and click Insert.
- Position and resize your logo to fit the bottom corner (footer area).
- Right-click the image and select Send to Back.
- Go to the Slide Master tab.
- Select Close Master View to apply changes to all slides.
- Your image footer now appears consistently across the entire presentation.
