How to Add a Manual Journal in Xero

It is very easy to add a manual journal in Xero. Here’s a short tutorial on how to do it in simple steps:

  1. On Xero's main dashboard, go to the top menu bar and click 'Accounting'.
  2. Select 'Reports' from the list of options.
  3. Following that, find and select 'Journal Report'.
  4. Tap 'Add New Journal' to proceed.
  5. Provide all the required information you wish to include. One by one, fill out the input fields accordingly.
  6. Once done, review your input and click 'Post' or 'Save As Draft'.
  7. After completing these steps, a new manual journal will be added to your Xero account.
