Adding a codebase to Cursor allows the AI to understand your project files and provide better suggestions, explanations, and edits.
- Open your Cursor editor and sign in to your account.
- Click "File" from the top menu of the editor, and select Open File.
- Choose the project folder or codebase from your computer.
- Click "Open" to load the project into the editor.
- Wait for Cursor to index the files in the folder.
