How to Activate Tableau Desktop

Tableau is a data visualization tool for creating interactive charts and dashboards. This guide shows how to activate your Tableau account so you can access its features and start creating visualizations.

1. To activate your Tableau account, choose one of the three options. For now, we will use 'Tableau for free'.
2. Click 'Create an Account' to use Tableau.
3. Fill in the required fields (e.g., name, email, password).
4. Click ‘Create Account’ to finish setting up your account.
5. An email will be sent to you with a link to activate your Tableau account.
6. Check your email and click the Tableau activation link.
7. You’ll be redirected to the sign-in page, where you can now log in to your activated account
8. When a thank-you message appears, click ‘Continue’ to complete your activation.
