Quick summary
The Jira API token is required to authenticate external tools and integrations with your Atlassian account. You can create and manage API tokens directly from your Atlassian Account Settings under the Security tab.
Steps
- In your Jira space, head to the top-right corner and click your Profile icon.
- Click Account Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Navigate to the top menu bar and tap the Security tab.
- Scroll down to the API Tokens section and click Create and Manage API Token.
- You can now access and manage all API tokens associated with your Jira account.
