How Do I Follow Someone On Pipedrive

Use this interactive demo to learn how to follow a contact or deal in Pipedrive and add team followers.

Quick summary

The follow feature in Pipedrive lets users subscribe to updates on any contact, deal, or lead so they never miss activity. You can follow items yourself or add other team members as followers directly from the item's detail view.


Steps

  1. Navigate to the contact or deal you wish to follow in Pipedrive.
  2. Click on the item to open its detailed view.
  3. Locate the followers count in the top right corner and click the dropdown menu to view follower options.
  4. Click Start following to follow the item yourself, or choose to add other users with sufficient permissions.
  5. To add a teammate, click the + Add a follower option in the dropdown.
  6. Use the dropdown menu to select users you want to add as followers.
  7. Click on a user's name to add them as a follower.
  8. Close the menu to confirm and view the changes applied to the item.
  9. Verify that the follower count has updated to reflect all newly added followers.
