Quick summary
Creating a template in Confluence lets teams standardize page structures with consistent formatting, macros, and content fields. By setting up space templates through Space Settings, teams reduce repetitive work and ensure every new page follows the same approved structure.
Steps
- Find your space name in the sidebar, click the three dots (•••), then select Space settings.
- In the Look and feel tab, click on Templates to access template management.
- Click Create new template to start building your team's time-saving document structure.
- Design your template with text, tables, and macros — whatever your team needs for consistency.
- When you're happy with your template, click Save to make it available across your space.
