It is very easy to use the Dynamic Rename tool in Alteryx. Here’s a short tutorial on how to do it in simple steps:
- Inside Alteryx's workflow designer, head over to the left-side panel and find 'Dynamic Rename'. Drag it onto the canvas and connect it to the Input Data tool or other sources.
- Following that, go to the right-hand panel and configure the selected tool. To get started, specify your preferred Rename Method.
- Subsequently, tap the checkbox beside the column you wish to edit.
- Configure the related settings according to your liking and provide all the required details.
- Finally, the selected column header in your Alteryx workflow will be edited using the Dynamic Rename tool.
