- To learn how to use tables in Adobe InDesign, prepare your table data, then go to the top menu and click 'Table.'
- Select 'Convert Text to Table' to turn your data into a table.
- The Convert Text to Table panel will open. Click 'OK' to proceed.
- Once your data is converted into a table, add styles by going to the top menu and selecting 'Window' → 'Styles' → 'Cell Styles.'
- The Cell Style Options panel will open. Go to Strokes and Fills, then under Fill, choose your preferred color and tint to apply to the table. Click 'OK' to make a new style.
- A new style has been created.
- Select the cells in the table, then click your new style to apply the cell highlight.
- To add a graphic to a cell, select the cell where you want to insert the image. Go to the top menu and click 'Table.'
- Select 'Convert Cell to Graphic Cell' to turn the cell into a graphic cell.
- An external file browser will open. Locate and select the image you want to insert, then click 'OK' to place it into the graphic cell.
- The image is now successfully inserted into the cell.
