Quick summary
The Figma mask feature lets designers clip layers using a shape or image to control exactly what is visible in a design. By using Use as Mask under the Design tab, you can apply non-destructive image masking to any set of selected layers in seconds.
Steps
- In your Figma design canvas, click the image you want to use as the mask and drag it above the image you wish to mask.
- Select all the layers you want to include in the mask.
- Open the right-side panel and click the More Options button under the Design tab.
- Choose Use as Mask from the list of options.
- The mask effect is now applied to all selected layers.
