This tutorial shows you how to create a Zap that uses Gmail as a trigger to automatically post messages in Basecamp whenever a new email is received. Steps
- From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger field to select the trigger event for your Zap.
- Search for and select Gmail as your trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event such as New Email or New Attachment.
- Connect your Google account to authorize Gmail access.
- Add your mailbox and click Continue to proceed.
- Click Test trigger to send a test email and confirm Zapier can detect it.
- Search for and select Basecamp as your action app.
- Select an action event to define what happens in Basecamp when the trigger fires.
- Connect and authorize your Basecamp account.
- Customize the action details in Basecamp and click Continue.
- Click Test step to verify the Basecamp action executes correctly.
- Once the test is successful, click Publish to activate your Zap.
