How to Sync Facebook Page Engagement Insights to Google Sheets Using Zapier

It is very easy to sync Facebook page engagement insights to Google Sheets using Zapier. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to do it:

  1. Navigate to the left-side panel, then tap 'Create'.
  2. Choose 'Zaps' from the list of options.
  3. After that, click the 'Trigger' tab to start the integration process.
  4. Search for 'Facebook Pages' and then select it from the recommended matches.
  5. Next, click the 'Trigger Event' menu.
  6. Choose 'New Comment' from the list of options.
  7. Tap 'Sign In' afterwards and then log into your active Facebook account.
  8. Subsequently, click 'Reconnect' to accept the terms and grant the necessary permissions.
  9. Provide the additional information needed to set up the Trigger accordingly. In this case, specify the Facebook page you wish to monitor for engagement insights.
  10. Once done, click 'Continue' to run your input and test the Trigger.
  11. Click 'Continue' one more time to proceed further.
  12. Following that, search for 'Google Sheets' and then choose it as the Action app.
  13. Next, click the 'Action Event' menu to view and explore the available options.
  14. Select 'Create Spreadsheet Row' or 'Create Spreadsheet Column' from the given options.
  15. Tap 'Sign In' afterwards, then log into your Google account.
  16. Subsequently, click 'Allow' to agree with the terms and grant the necessary permissions.
  17. One by one, fill out the input fields with the required details, particularly the Google Drive, Spreadsheet, and Worksheet items. At the same time, you can also add some custom notes or dynamic data to serve as your reference.
  18. Once done, click 'Continue' to publish and enable the integration.
  19. After completing these steps, the engagement insights of your Facebook page will be synced to Google Sheets based on your input. That means a row or a column together with a short note will be added to your spreadsheet each time your Facebook page receives a new comment.
