This tutorial shows how to stop syncing a SharePoint folder by revoking access through the Manage Access panel. In just four steps, you can desynchronize any library folder directly from the SharePoint site dashboard without needing admin tools.
Steps
- Inside the main SharePoint dashboard, navigate to the left-side panel and select a library.
- Hover your mouse over the folder you want to desynchronize, then click the More Actions button.
- From the dropdown, choose Manage Access to open the access settings panel.
- Click Stop Sharing to disable all active access and stop syncing the selected SharePoint folder.
