Steps
- Go to the Upwork site and click 'Sign Up'.
- Select the type of account you want to create.
- If you want to offer services, select 'Apply as a Freelancer' when prompted.
- Fill in your full name, email address, and password.
- Set your location and agree to Upwork's terms of service.
- Click 'Create my account'.
- Upwork will send a verification email to the address you provided — click 'Go to Gmail Inbox'.
- Once you have verified your account, a confirmation notification will appear.
- Your Upwork account is created — you can now start setting up your profile.
