Use this interactive demo to learn how to save and revisit prompts in Perplexity's Library.

Quick summary

Perplexity's Library lets you save and revisit every prompt and conversation you've run, making it easy to track ongoing research or creative projects. By accessing the Library from the home screen, users can instantly find past searches without starting from scratch.

Steps

  1. Click on your profile in Incognito mode to begin the process.
  2. Disable incognito and access your profile to manage settings and view your history.
  3. Type your query in the search box to start a new prompt.
  4. Launch a new search to get accurate, up-to-date information from across the web.
  5. Once you have your result, click 'Home' to return to the main screen.
  6. Open the 'Library' from the sidebar to see all your saved research and conversations.
  7. Use the Library feature in Perplexity to view and revisit previous conversations and prompts for tracking your research or creative processes.

📌 Why this matters

Perplexity's Library feature solves a common problem for power users: losing track of valuable AI-generated research across multiple sessions. By automatically saving every prompt and conversation, Perplexity enables users to build a persistent, searchable knowledge base without any manual effort. This is especially useful for researchers, writers, and professionals who run repeated or iterative queries and need to reference past results quickly. The ability to save and revisit prompts directly within Perplexity makes it a more productive alternative to starting fresh searches every time.
