It is very easy to rename a field in Alteryx. Here’s a short tutorial on how to do it in simple steps:
- On Alteryx's workflow designer, tap the 'Select' tool connected to your input data.
- After that, go to the right-hand panel and find the column you want to edit. Tap its corresponding Rename field to proceed.
- Come up with a unique field name, then type it into the provided input box. Press the 'Enter' or 'Return' key to apply the changes.
- Finally, the selected field in your Alteryx workflow will be renamed according to your input.
